Traditional Web Pages vs. Blogs

One major difference between a traditional web page and a blog is that the information on the website doesn't necessarily get updated often. Information on a web page could stay the same for weeks at a time, whereas information on a blog is changing as daily news is released. Another major difference is that a blogger's readers can post openly, in the comment section, their opinions and comments about your blog post. Another difference is a person's blog can be a handy tool for use in the classroom, as it is easier to connect with students, parents, and other professionals in your field. Lastly, a web page concentrates on one general topic whereas you, as the author of the blog, can setup a weekly topic routine (ex. Mondays could talk about green living and Tuesdays would talk about new technology products for the week, etc.).
