Professional Learning Plan

I have created a podcast to share my professional learning plan. Podcasting was one of the most difficult concepts I had to figure out during this course and it  took me several days of research to discover just exactly how to make one for my purposes. It is also a tool which requires us to remember how to store our documents "in the cloud", another step that I am working on remembering how to do. So in celebration of my ability to conquer this tool on my own, I have chosen it to deliver my professional learning plan to you.
You can access my podcast by clicking on the link below. Enjoy!

  1. Dianne,

That is wonderful that you were able to figure out podcasting. It can be very tricky but it is a great tool for students, and for posting information to a classroom website. It is also great that you are so much more comfortable with trying out web 2.0 tools. There are so many available and it seems like as soon as you learn one, another becomes available! Your class is lucky to have someone who is so interested in taking risks and learning more about technology. Thank you for sharing!

  2. I think you've come a long way in this class. From the frustrations of the beginning of this class with our group web conference and with the technology limitations you deal with at your school, you've improved much. I agree with you on taking 3 classes all at once - it makes it hard to really grasp every single aspect of the technology from the classes that should be learned effectively. A class every summer from now on to get your endorsement sounds like a good idea. I wish you the best!

  3. You're right, Dianne. The technology has changed so much in just 5 years. We've learned so much and I hope we don't fall behind with the new technology since it contiually evolves. We have so many tools to use in our classrooms and I share your goal. I would like to become proficient in using them. Hopefully, we'll be able to teach our co-workers as well!
